Museum Institute launched OG Solomchenkom has a valuable collection of Hutsul tiles, metal, leather, wood 19-20 century.
The history of the origin of the institution dates back to 1882, when weaving company was established in Kosovo Weaving school premises which were present in the hostel of the institute. In the first years of establishment of industrial schools, more - College opened offices artistic woodcarving and stolyarskoyi case, decorative weaving and carpet making, embroidery art, cutting and modeling.
The institute has a museum - a kind of scientific cognitive center, which preserves artistic heritage of several generations of famous artists Hutsul folk art, best diploma works of students from the founding institutions that make up its history, which clearly read the direction of art school.
Counting over three and a half thousand exhibits, the museum annually visited by thousands of people from Ukraine, Poland, USA, Canada, Japan, Austria, China, Germany, France, only about 50 countries around the world.
Collection of diploma students of the institution, shows the different periods of its development, direction art school over the second half of the twentieth century. Materials museum served to create more than 40 domestic and foreign film studios.
